Nam Du is an archipelago in the south Vietnami, it was one of area where foreigner is not accept to travel to because it's a border or military area but now the archipelago is welcome everyone to travel there but you just can go to that place by boat from Rach Gia (you can go there by bus or airplane from Hochiminh city) because that is still a local place and airport is not necessary. Because it's natural, original and have a lot of nice beaches, so that is the reason that make this island become attractive and be a destination of many Vietnamese vacations.

Remembe that it's not flexible for you to travel there by boat, usually the boats start at 6:30, 7:20, 7:30 and 10:00, so this is the point you should remember when you book a flight or a bus to Rach Gia. I recomend the earliest one if you don't have much time to travel because you can start your exploration in the same day if you take the boat start at 6:30.

By the way Phu Quoc island is really closed to Nam Du, so you can also think about going there after this, personaly, i think Nam Du is better than Phu Quoc because it's just more natural and it gave me the right feeling of travelling. They are 2 islands but the vibes are different so it doesn't matter if you go there both at the same time.

1. Bai cay men (cay men beach):

One of the special things in this archipelego is they are just so calm and peaceful, so if you are too tired of noise and traffic or city life, this place is a good choice for you.

2. Hon dau (Dau isle):

This isle has light sand and the water is really clear, old growth forest cover around 90% area of the isle, so you can imagine how nice is the ambiance. Coral there is also growing, not as good as other popular places but they still have a great beach and some coconut trees bend down to the ground that just give you a nice memory when you travel there

3. Hon mau ( Mau isle):

This isle is farthest ilse of the archipelago local people just revealed it maybe a year ago because it's really small and quite far, there is 5 beaches in this isle and two of them have pretty white sand and blue water,it's also awsome because balms there are amazing, it's really natural and nice the bad point is they also have kinda much litter, that's sad but still worth to go there.

They also have so many places that you can go for example: bai Chet, hai dang Nam Du ( Namdu lighthouse), hon Ngu, hon Nom,..i say in vietnamese because it will help you when you google them in google map.

Nam Du is a nice place for travelling but don't forget to try some food there also, especially seafood because they are really fresh there.

The best time for going there is around december to march because it's not so windy and that is dry season in Vietnam, if you don't know that Vietnam has two season, that is dry and rain so that's why dry season is the best time for you to travell there.

I hope this blog is helpful and it can help you for exploring Vietnam, see you in next blogg, bye!
