Before we start to recomend to you some nice places to go, let's check these things that you must prepare for your trip to make it's better and easier, we all know that when we travel to another country, we always have to pay some extra money just because we are tourist and we don't know what local people know, so i be here to heelp you guys, let's dive right in the point if you're still interested in:
1. Buy a sim card:
We all get used to use internet to search everything, so no internet we are almost in a trouble. The good thing here is sim card in VN is super cheap and easy to buy, they have private package for you to register and these pakages are just cheap if you get the right one, so here i recomend for you to use Viettel sim card, when you land in Ha Noi or Sai Gon what you have to do is find a place where they have wifi and check in google map " viettel store" then you just have to bring money and your passport to buy a sim card and the process just take like 20 min, remember to tell them that you want a sim card that is best for internet. The sim card is just around 3usd then you can buy a money card as much as you want in the shop from 10.000vnd to 500.000vnd (0,5-20usd) ask the staff there to show you how can you register internet for a day or month because they have different pakages, if you buy a card just for internet so it's around 7-10usd( include simcard and pakage for 1 month) for whole month with each day you will get 2GB of 4G. If they recomend another sim card which is more expensive, just tell them the price i just show you above, i don't know why they just have "not smart" system for that like the price is much different but if you know what you want so just tell them.

2. Strong sun.
The sunlight in Vietnam is extremely strong, so if you want to get tan make sure you already had suncream if you don't want to be burned and have that bad skin with you for the whole trip. So suncream and sunglasses are the must have items of your trip to Vietnam. The bad thing here is vietnamese people like to have white skin so suncream there won't help you to get tan and the quality is not really good because if a suncream work, it will be so sticky and you can't get tan with it. One tip for you is using body lotion when you just want to get tan not for swimming, this tips would help you get tan without destroy your surface skin so your skin will get nice color and look healthy after all but don't forget suncream by the way.

3. Exchange money:
We all know if you exchange money somewhere in travel agency, we accept to lose a mount of money, so the best thing you can do is bring your money straight to a bank and exchange there because they have their own working systems, so even if Vietnamese or foreigner we both have the same interest and genuine money. One more time, just search "bank" in google map then you have all, Vietcombank is a good bank that i can recommend to you because they usually have higher interest than another.

4. Buying stuff/shopping:
Try to buy in a shop where you can get receipt as much as possible because you may get higher price if you buy stuff on some streets. Convenient shops are everywhere in big cities so just check and go there for buying or asking the price before you buy the stuff is never unnecessary, suppermarket is the cheapest place where you can find some basic stuff like water, snacks, shampoo, beer,.. Remember that genuin product just sell in showroom, so never belive someone about selling real stuff on some streets or Ben Thanh market, ''market'' is a place where you can buy fake and cheap thing. Breakfast or lunch in Saigon or Hanoi are usually not over 40,000vnd if you eat on some streets and not try to order more than what the dish suppose to have, so with 40,000vnd ( 1,7usd)you will get pretty nice meal, so if it look not really nice, just move to find another place.

5. Never be careless with your valuable stuff:
Always keep an eye on your bag, never show that you are careless with the phone in your hand or put your wallet or valuable thing in a pocket where some can take it easily, you know when you are in a new place, you always want to look around so that is a big chance for bad people who want to get thing from you. Of course Vietnam is not that bad but just be careful would help your trip much better, just imagine if you lose your passport in you wallet somehow that's such a nightmare! Vietnam is a country use cash more than card, so this is pretty hard for you because i know you get used to use card and this make you have trouble if you keep a lot of cash on your hand and slowly do payment on a street, so always keep amount of money in your pocket and put the rest in your wallet and put the wallet into the safe place, just for safe and convenient.

6. Moving:
Everywhere you want to go, you should book GRAB/UBER or hire a motobike as much as possible instead of jump on a taxi or a motobike and tell them where to go, that is a bad idea because they can cheat you so easy or maybe they don't understand what are you saying and bring you to somewhere where god know, i just kidding but use internet and book grab or uber is the best way because you know the price beforehand and they're always so fast. In Vietnam, Grab is more popular and little bit cheaper but uber look... cleaner so it's depend on you. For this, you need a sim card that you can call and send a message to register an account.

Again we hope you can enjoy your trip in Vietnam, if you have any question just ask, we would love to here back from you guys, love!
